Am I crazy?

If I am watching TV, and if I see a commercial for 24 start up, I will actually plug my ears and cover my eyes until it goes away. I hate having anything ruined.

Besides, they always make the commercials look like one thing is happening, but it's different by the time the show comes around. That really makes me angry for some reason.

But that image of myself, like a child, plugging my ears and covering my eyes.

Am I crazy?

You aren't crazy Dean. This season I have stopped watching the commercials after the show. I believe I have slept better. In the past I have had restless nights thinking about what I just saw in the show, but also trying to decipher what I saw in the previews.

I stopped watching previews during Season three, when the preview showed Jack freaking out that the virus had been flushed down the toilet into the water system, but really it was just cocaine -- and everyone knew it about ten seconds later...

Hmm...

Someone once told me that I should unplug from the TV, you know, try life without it.

Well whoever told you that must have done so during the 24 off-season!

Besides -- it's only one hour a week, man!

5th season. 5 days of our life.

5 days is nothing. I've been here for thousands.

I love the previews! Not that I need to be hooked in, but they sure do that.

Of course you're crazy - like we would expect anything else!

If the commercials actually mislead you, then by all means watch them so that you are pleasantly surprised when it turns out otherwise!

Brilliant!
